1) I lost my motivation after Michael and I broke up. At the time I felt somewhat compelled to stay creative because he was and still is so inspiring. His commitment to his art in whatever form is admirable and I suppose I lost my competitive spirit to keep up with him when we went our ways.
2) I started working full-time
3) I got engaged and have my fiance to take care of which leaves a lot less time for myself to create
4) My skills are shitehouse and everytime I draw I feel down about my abilities. I have these ideas in my head that are screaming to get out yet when I try to put pen to paper it turns up a mess
But... aside from all of that I've agreed to the challenge of posting a deviation by the 1st of May. I've started a little something already but would really love to put together a series or collection.
My commitment to myself is to try and explore different forms of fashion illustration. I've been utterly inspired by some books I recently purchased as well as my new found skills in photoshop and illustrator.
I can't promise something amazing but I can promise something.

What's the difference between "involvement" and "commitment?" Well, think of the ham and eggs you had for breakfast this morning. The chicken was involved; the pig was committed.
